Batroun Website was launched in 1997 by Fouad Georges El-Khabbaz. Batroun was one of the first Lebanese towns to have a site on the internet. In the year 2001 a second design was introduced. Major changes occured on the site during the year 2004 with a third website.
The fourth design of the website was introduced in the first month of the 2007.

Batroun.com new website is a web2.0 interactive and user friendly website, which introduces major changes, such as Blogging, Social Networking and Comments to our articles.
The site’s purpose is to promote Batroun name and its history all over the world. At Batroun.com we also aim to link people who still live in Batroun with those who moved away.
Batroun.com is a non profit site; however in order to keep running the site we rely on advertisement and donations.
